Q: I do not understand screen size
measurements, could you explain?
A: Screen size is measured diagonally (see example). A laptop
with a 15.4-inch screen will have a diagonal
measurement of 15.4 inches, but the actual width of
the screen will be smaller. For example the
Apple 15.4-inch MacBook Pro has a diagonal screen
measurement of 15.4 inches, but the actual width of
the screen is 14.1 inches. If you're unsure about
the size of your laptop and would like to know if it
will fit in one of our bags, please feel free to
contact us and we'll look up the dimensions for
you.
Q: How long is the
shoulder strap on Rainebrooke bags?
A: The shoulder strap is adjustable and measures the following.
Black Candy laptop bag: Strap drop length is approx. 14
inches.
Metro-Traveler laptop bag: Adjustable from 27 inches to
47 inches.
Metro Lite Laptop Bag: Adjustable from 25
inches to 45 inches.
Slim Line Laptop Bag/Sleeve: Adjustable from 22.5
inches to 41 inches.
Q: Is there enough room for my laptop accessories?
A: The Black Candy, Metro-Traveler, leather and faux leather bags will have
plenty of room for your accessories. The amount of extra room that's
available in the Metro Lite and Slim Line bags depends on the size of
your laptop and the accessories you wish to carry. You can compare the
size of your laptop to the interior size of our bag. There may be some
extra room in the main laptop compartment or you may be able to use the
back pocket or front pockets (depending on the bag you're interested in)
for carrying your accessories.
Q: How much will fit in the back pocket (Slim Line & Metro Lite
bags)?
A: The back pocket dimensions can be found under the "dimensions &
materials" section of the bag you are interested in. The pocket is
convenient for carrying files, magazines, or notebooks.
Q: What type of protection do your bags
provide?
A: The padding in our bags is designed to provide
bump and scratch protection. Our bags were not
designed to protect laptops against drops. If you
are looking for drop protection, we suggest that you
place your laptop inside our bag and then place our
bag inside another heavily padded bag.
Q: How do I clean my bag?
A: It is best to hand wash the bag with a mild soap and hang to dry.
The materials used in our bags are not safe for use in a washing machine
or dryer.
