Q: Why does your site say my 15.4-inch screen laptop will fit in your Slim Line Laptop Bag that is only 14.5-inches in length?
A: Screen size is measured diagonally (see example).  A laptop with a 15.4-inch screen will have a diagonal measurement of 15.4 inches, but the actual width of the screen will be smaller.  For example the Apple 15.4-inch MacBook Pro has a diagonal screen measurement of 15.4 inches, but the actual width of the screen is 14.1 inches. If you're unsure about the size of your laptop and would like to know if it will fit in one of our bags, please feel free to contact us and we'll look up the dimensions for you.

Q: How long is the shoulder strap?
A: The shoulder strap is adjustable and measures the following.
Slim Line Laptop Bag/Sleeve: At its shortest, it is 22.5 inches, and at its longest it is 41 inches.
Metro Lite Laptop Bag: At its shortest, it is 25 inches, and at its longest it is 45 inches.

Q: Do I need to buy a separate laptop sleeve to use with the Rainebrooke Slim Line Laptop Bag?
A: No. Our Slim Line bag/sleeve was designed to function both as a carry bag and a sleeve.

Q: Is there enough room for my laptop accessories?
A: This depends on the size of your laptop and the accessories you wish to carry. You can compare the size of your laptop to the interior size of our bag. There may be some extra room in the main laptop compartment or you may be able to use the back pocket or front pockets (depending on the bag you're interested in) for carrying your accessories. The leather and faux leather bags should have plenty of room for your accessories.

Q: How much will fit in the back pocket (Slim Line & Metro Lite bags)?
A: The back pocket dimensions can be found under the "dimensions & materials" section of the bag you are interested in. The pocket is convenient for carrying files, magazines, or notebooks.

Q: What type of protection do your bags provide?
A: The padding in our bags is designed to provide bump and scratch protection. Our bags were not designed to protect laptops against drops. If you are looking for drop protection, we suggest that you place your laptop inside our bag and then place our bag inside another heavily padded bag.

Q: What is Duracord?
A: Duracord is a man-made industrial yarn that provides superb durability while also retaining a cotton-like softness. Duracord fabric is lightweight, easy to clean, fast drying, and excellent at repelling water.

Q: How do I clean my bag?
A: It is best to hand wash the bag with a mild soap and hang to dry. The materials used in our bags are not safe for use in a washing machine or dryer.
