Recall Notice – Toshiba notebook computer batteries recalled due to fire hazard

Toshiba is recalling about 1400 lithium-ion batteries containing Sony cells used in some Satellite and Tecra models.  The batteries are being recalled because they can overheat, posing a fire hazard.  Check this recall notice for complete information and model listings. Anyone who owns one of the recalled batteries can get a free replacement from Toshiba.
