Kim White handbags

I love classic cars and I love bags, so when I came across Kate’s post over at Funky, Chic and Cool Laptop Bags News about Kim White handbags I just had to mention them here too. Kim White bags are made from vintage (70’s & 80’s) automotive fabrics that she unearthed in a warehouse. Each bag is tagged with the year and make of the fabric so you know exactly what car your bag comes from.  These bags weren’t made specifically for laptops, but nonetheless they’re really cool.  The red bag pictured is called the “Red Chevron large travel bag” and has fabric from a 1979 GM. The bag is 16” x 22” x 9” so most laptops would probably fit in it. It sells for $380.  The blue bag pictured is a special edition blue cut-out clutch. You couldn’t fit a laptop in it, but I had to post a picture of it since my first car was a Camaro :-)   It sells for $225. Check out the Kim White site for all the vintage fabrics that are available. ~ Comment on these bags…what do you think about them.
