For those of you who are looking for a laptop sleeve that is really colorful and funky, then check out foofbags. foofbags are made by foof (Phonetic: fūf (fu:f) pronounced: foooof), which is based in Australia. The foofbag is purely a sleeve; they are open ended without a flap, do not have pockets, and are designed to be used inside another case or bag. The interior lining is made from black polyester quilted satin lining with polyester wadding, while the exterior is made from several fabrics depending on the color that you choose. These sleeves are designed around the sizes of Apple Powerbooks and iBooks, so if you want to know if a non-Apple laptop will fit, you’ll need to check out foof’s FAQ page to see their explanation of sizing. The best part of foofbags is the colors and the names of the colors. Starting with my personal favorite (pictured) is the inverted urchin, which is made with an acrylic tuft. The acrylic tuft bags also come in purple people eater, and flaming madness (red). Also available is 100% corduroy in what’s eating Gilbert (grape), blue split, hot pink, red fire engine. A faux fur model is available called I ate the giraffe, and a soft fleece model called I’ve been fleeced. foofbags sell on the foof site for $36AUD or $42AUD depending on which fabric you choose. International shipping is available. ~ Comment on this bag. Do you like it or dislike it? How do you think it could be improved? What colors would you like to see it in?
