The Lightwire backpack from Patagonia is a nice looking commuter pack that works great for many different types of lifestyles.  It has a gusseted main compartment with interior divider and two zippered, see through mesh pockets for small items.  The padded laptop sleeve fits most laptops up to 10.5x2x13. There is an outside zippered trapdoor compartment that can keep your essentials at quick reach.  The spacer-mesh shoulder straps have room for a hydration tube, or headphone cord, while the sternum strap has a built-in whistle.  A self-storing, hideaway waist belt, and stretch mesh side water bottle pockets are also handy features.  The pack is made from 210D polyurethane coated nylon, measures L 13.5″ x W 10″ x H 17.5″, weighs just over 2 lbs and comes in four colors (burnt amber, black, algae (pictured), forge gray). It sells on the Patagonia web site for $100. ~ Comment on this bag. Do you like it or dislike it? How do you think it could be improved? What colors would you like to see it in?
